Every year, May 5th is used to raise awareness of The Missing, Murdered, Indigenous Women and Girls a human rights issue impacting Native communities all across the United States, Canada, and abroad. We join together to share the MMIWG history, issues of jurisdiction, legislation, advocacy, and provide awareness on this important issue.

This striking Image of “First Woman” is repurposed from the award winning book, “The Otter, The Spotted Frog and The Great Flood: A Creek Indian Story” Written By Gerald Hausman, Illustrated By Ramon Shiloh. Ramon is an Award-Winning Author-Illustrator, Public Speaker, and Chef.
